Soma’s Green Salsa (Fresh and Spicy)
Soma Green Salsa
This recipe was inspired by a desire to bring fresh and spicy ingredients together! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do. It only takes a few minutes and it will add life to tacos, eggs, salads or can be used as a fresh veggie dip! Enjoy!!
- 3 organic persian cucumbers Can also use 2-4 cucumbers varying in size
- 1 Avocado
- 1/2 Lemon
- 1/2 Lime
- 3 Serrano Peppers I also have used Jalapeño or Habanero peppers
- 2-3 Large Garlic Cloves
- 1/4 Cup Cilantro Leaves
- Varies Salt to taste Make sure your salt is real with minerals like real, himalayan or celtic salt
Cut cucumbers and avocado up and place in a food processor.
Squeeze lemon and lime over top. Blend.
Add peppers (including seeds), garlic and blend again.
Add cilantro and salt and blend again.
Enjoy as a topping or with chips and veggies as a dip. You can add tomatillos or cumin for a new kick. Remove seeds from peppers if desiring a milder spice.
