Perfectly Guiltless Chocolate Brownies with Chocolate Sauce (Grain free and Dairy Free)
Yesterday was “Funday Monday” in our home where the kids get a special dessert after school. We Stewarts love to celebrate and eat good food!
As a mom, and as especially as a health coach, I am always seeking to find foods that are both delicious and good for you, even in the dessert department. I firmly believe that food is important and should always taste wonderful, that is why I am sharing this with you today!
A friend sent me a crockpot brownie recipe and I thought that was so genius! I ended up tweaking it a bit and adding a chocolate sauce that is wonderful! These brownies are truly delicious and you will be so happy to make the switch!
Perfectly Guiltless Chocolate Brownies
1 Cup Almond Butter
1/2 Cup Maple Syrup (can use raw honey)
1/3 Cup Raw Cacao Powder
1/2 T Real Vanilla
1/4 tsp Real Salt
1/2 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 Cup Dairy free mini chocolate chips
Preheat the oven for 350 degrees. Line an 8X8 square pan with parchment paper. Combine the ingredients and pour into parchment paper. Smooth out and bake for 15-18 minutes on the top rack. If you want the slightly gooey you can bake for 16 mins. Gooey is so good with ice cream on top! Let cool for 5 mins and enjoy warm! You can eat by itself, put ice cream and chocolate sauce on top or add fresh strawberries to it. You will have a perfectly gutless dessert for a snack or any meal! Enjoy!
Chocolate Sauce (can replace hardshell chocolate)
Coconut Palm Nectar (can use stevia, raw honey or maple syrup but won’t be as thick)
Start with 1/2 cup of coconut oil and then add in other ingredients to the desired taste. You can’t mess it up! This sauce works great to replace hardshell chocolate sauce for ice cream. Place the brownie, ice cream and sauce on top and you have an incredible dessert!
Word from the Stewart Littles
