Golden Milk Matcha Latte

Ingredients

  • Hot Water (1-2 Cups)
  • 1 tsp Matcha Green Tea
  • 1 TB Whey Protein
  • 1/8 tsp each of Cayenne, Cardamon, Black pepper and Turmeric
  • 1 Dropper full of organic liquid stevia (optional)

 

Directions

  • Boil filtered water and have ready to pour
  • Pour 1/2 to 1 cup of hot water in blender
  • Add in Matcha green tea, whey protein and spices
  • Blend until all powder has dissolved
  • Add stevia if desired and blend again
  • Pour and enjoy!

 

Optional add in: You can replace the whey protein with other protein powders or collagen protein and the stevia with maple syrup if desired. Can use a mechanical frothing apparatus instead of a blender. 

This is inspired by my favorite drink at Picnik cafe. If you are in Austin, you must visit this place! It is wonderful!
