Easy Glorious Green Sprout Salad
Broccoli, watercress and sunflower sprouts all have incredible health benefit to our bodies. By adding these to your weekly food rhythms you will go a long way at improving your health.
Sprouts of any kind are nutritious, inexpensive and easy to grow. They are also easy to consume, as they are eaten raw. I add sprouts to my tacos, salads, sandwiches, burgers and even pizza or pasta dishes.
Sprouted broccoli seeds have been proven to help prevent heart disease, cancer, diabetes and allergies just to name a few. The reason they help with this is because they are packed full of health promoting compounds that boost cell enzymes that protect cells from molecular damage and help normalize DNA methylation. Sprouts also help us to detox from environmental pollutants that we are exposed to on a daily basis. Sprouts are easily forgotten but are a powerhouse full of nutrition! Here is a sprout salad that we enjoy for a snack, side or full meal! Hope you enjoy it!
