10 Nutritional Breakfast Ideas to Start Your Day Plus 5 Helpful Tips
Breakfast is one of the most important meals of our day. This is probably no new news for you. Most of my clients know this. We have been hearing this for a long time and it has always proven as true.
The problem is not believing this is true, but implementing it into our daily lives. In the US, we live quickly and have need for convenience. Unfortunately, that is where some of our nutritious food gets kicked to the side.
Breakfast is usually left behind or reduced to a piece of toast and coffee on the way out the door. Take a look at some of my tips and recipes I have given my clients and see if it might help you put breakfast back in its rightful place!
5 Tips Regarding Breakfast
- Eat breakfast even if you are not hungry
- Feast in the morning and move towards fasting at night
- Eat dinner for breakfast
- Prep food while you sleep with a crockpot or warm setting in an oven
- Grab nutrition because you wake up with a body that is starved and dehydrated

10 Nutritional Breakfast Ideas
1. Sausage and Avocado
Chicken sausage (Applegate is a great brand or Trader Joes brand) or pastured-raised Pork sausage and avocado cut up (Cut up and heat sausage in frying pan. Pour in bowl and add up fresh cut avocado, cilantro, green onions or kale) Avocado is very filling and great fat for the body!
2. Boiled eggs and Bacon
Boil the eggs the night before and crumble pieces of NO NITRATE bacon on 2 boiled eggs with salt and pepper. (Cook bacon in oven at 350 for 20 mins while you get ready or the night before so it is ready to go)
3. Chocolate Protein Shake
10 oz Whole Milk Organic milk (we use raw milk), 2 Tsp Cacao Powder (find in supplement section at HEB or health food stores), Stevia to desired sweetness (get Organic stevia in liquid form in baking section) Blend in Vitamix or like blender. Add Collagen Powder for extra protein
4. Fried Eggs over Arugula
Fry 2-3 Pastured Eggs (fried in pastured or organic butter or olive oil- trader joe’s brand is budget friendly)+ Cilantro (add vinegar dressing or salsa if desired)
Click title for recipe. Prep sweet potatoes by cooking them the night before on low (170 degrees) in oven overnight. You can also replace them with Sweet potato noodles found at Natural Grocer. Try Cooking this for dinner and make enough to eat for breakfast the next morning. You can also eat this like a “hash” and omit the tortilla.
6. Bacon Basil Sandwich
Serve uncurred bacon on Ezekiel English Muffins toasted with butter and leaves of fresh basil. It is a combo you will absolutely enjoy in taste! A trick with bacon: You can put it in the oven on 350 degree and cook for 25 mins. Start this when you wake up and the bacon will be ready to take with you when you leave for work. You can also make the bacon the night before and store it in a glass container for the next day.

8. Berry Breakfast Ice Cream
Combine 1/2 cup Whole Milk Probiotic Yogurt , 1/2 cup Frozen Blue Berries, Pecans, Goji Berries and raw honey as desired. Make sure the blue berries are frozen. It creates a freeze effect that tastes just like creamy ice cream!
